Meet Marni, Major in the US Army

Marni is a Major in the US Army. There are many jobs that you can do within the Army.

Marni is a COMPUTER SYSTEMS ENGINEER, where she is able to design, build, secure, and defend the computer networks that the Army uses.

To become an Army officer, you can take ROTC in college or enlist and apply for Officer Candidate School. For those interested in a career focused on IT, there are various certifications like Security +, Network+, A+, CISM, and CASP - to name a few.

Marni enjoys her career with the US Army because her mission to defend the country provides purpose, but “I also get to do cool things with technology and travel the world”.
