ABOUT US

Here at Dream It. See It. Be It., we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause.

The earliest memory I have of dreams for my life center around my mom.. She was a teacher and influenced me to think that may be the career path I’d take as well. I had no Idea what other opportunities were out there. This goes to show that our imagination is as big as what we are exposed to, and for many that is limited to our family and those closest to us.

In my work with students and community organizations over the past 10 years, I heard the same response when asking students what they dream about doing when they grow up.

For youth of color, dreams of becoming a celebrity, or following in the footsteps of a family member or someone close to them seemed like the only options.

Dream it. See it. Be it. was founded to unlock the limitless possibilities for youth by exposing them to as many career opportunities as possible, allowing them to dream big! Through career exploration, recorded videos and workshops hosted by professionals of color, students will see themselves represented in the world of career opportunities that await them.

Dream it. See it. Be it. compliments Career and Technical Education curriculum provided to students across the country, and fills the gap that these often under-resourced programs leave - representation of people of color, as well as access to professionals and corporate partners.

Imagine what we can achieve together!
